Bank of America Merril Lynch: there is no way around Russian gas for Europe

Вank of America Merrill Lynch has prepared a survey of the global gas market. The bank’s forecast is favorable for Russia and Gazprom: there is no way around Russian gas for Europe.

 

Asia has taken all the liquefied natural gas

Japan has closed its last active nuclear plant. It wasn’t reported, when the nuclear plant will be opened again.

Two and a half years have passed from the moment of the destructive tsunami and catastrophe at the nuclear station in Fukushima. But the catastrophe’s consequences haven’t been liquidated completely.

The nuclear power industry provided 30% of the demand for electricity. Now its gone, Japan increased the demand for oil, coal and liquefied gas substantially. The import of liquefied gas in the country made up 7.3 million tons per month in the first eight months of the year, this is by almost 25% more than three years ago.
