Gazpromneft postpones start of oil production in Iraq because of contractors

Gazpromneft has postponed the start of oil production at the Badra field in Iraq because of problems with contractors, the company’s Head Alexander Dyukov reported to journalists.
“At the end of 2013, we planned to launch (the production), but contractors had some problems,” – he said. Today the start of the oil production at the Badra deposit is scheduled for the beginning of the next year, he noted.
