LUKOIL and Uzbekistan to discuss the construction of gas treatment plant for $3 billion

On December 3, 2013 the president of Uzbekistan I.Karimov and the head of LUKOIL V.Alekperov have discussed the construction of a modern gas processing plant in the Bukhara region of $3 billion value.

According to him, LUKOIL was about to take part in the project on the construction of a plant in the consortium, which is being formed as part of other foreign companies. The parties have also discussed a number of other current projects, inclusive of the development of the Kandymskaya group of deposits. They have also discussed cooperation at the deposits of Ustyurt.
