In 2013, oil production at Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli exceeded forecast by almost 7%

On the results of 2013, oil production from the block of deposits Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli, developed by a consortium of foreign companies, headed by BP, made up 32.717 million tons. This is by 6.8% more than it was predicted, head of the Energy Ministry, Natik Aliev noted.

“In 2013, the oil production at the Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli block exceeded the forecast by 2.1 million tons, made up 32.717 million tons against 30.326 million tons,” – N.Aliev emphasized.
