New mobile mining machines in Evrazruda’s Gorno-Shorsky subsidiary sets records

From October of 2013, 673 linear meters of mine roadway were passed at Evrazruda’s Gorno-Shorsky subsidiary due to use of mobile mining machines. This rate became record in the Evrazruda’s history.

Let’s recall, in September of 2013,the mobile mining machines – drilling rig and load-haul-dumper – were launched at the mining level of +115/+185 meters of the mine’s Podruslovy site. As a result, over 4 months the footage rate of developing butts and temporary workings increased almost 2.5 times.

“In January of 2014, 208 linear meters of mine roadway were passed at Gorno-Shorsky subsidiary that corresponds to world standards, - Evrazruda’s CEO Andrei Denyakin noted. – This is an excellent result for our company. Evrazruda’s miners appreciated advantages of new equipment. Miners are sure that new equipment will add a few hundreds of linear meters and will allow them to start ore mining, using new technology of sub-level caving”.
