Rosneft: consolidated financial results under IAS for 2013

In 2013, production of oil and liquid hydrocarbons made up 4 196 thousand barrels per day, and the gas production reached its record – 38.17 billion cubic meters.

The company stabilized the oil production at its largest enterprises in Western Siberia, including Samotlorneftegaz, Rosneft Nizhnevartovsk, Varieganneftegaz and Nyaganneftegaz.

Efficiency of work at brown fields was mainly caused by use of new technologies, which increase recovery factor, including mass introduction of horizontal wells with multistage hydraulic fracturing of formation, sidetracking, water flood management and dual production and injection.

In 2013, Samaraneftegaz achieved growth of the liquid hydrocarbons production in the amount of 2.9 % due to drilling out of deposits, discovered at licensed areas, acquired in 2011-2012, and improvement of geological exploration efficiency due to increased use of 3D seismic survey.
Samaraneftegaz has prospects, because in 2013 the company received the Mityaevsky and Lebedinskii licensed sites in the Samara region with initial value in the amount of 254 and 134 million rubles respectively.
