In 2014, Rosneft increased the total hydrocarbon production by 4.6% to 252 million tons of liquid equivalent. This was announced today by head of Rosneft,Igor Sechin at the meeting with the Russian President, Vladimir Putin.

"The total hydrocarbon production for the year amounted to 252 million tons of liquid equivalent that is by about 4.6% more than at the end of 2013," - said Sechin. He stressed that these results were achieved despite the falling oil prices in the second half of the year. At the same time, 205 million tons of the total production was clean oil production and nearly 60 billion cubic meters was gas.

On the results of 2014, the volume of hydrocarbon reserves made up 129 billion barrels - 17 billion tons. "We quite successfully carried out exploration and replenishment of the reserves," - the head of Rosneft stated. At the same time he reported to the President that the company performed all license obligations.
