Gazprom looks for way to independence

Gazpromneft discusses with Gazprom independent work on the domestic gas market. If the oil company is able to sell gas at free prices, it will become a powerful tool for the Gazprom group for the return of consumers, which were actively taken by Novatek and Rosneft. Gazpromneft can go to independent sales of its gas on the domestic market and discusses it with Gazprom, head of department of strategic planning of the oil company Sergei Vakulenko reported. He didn’t name the timeframe for the decision making, pointed out that the debate was continuing. According to the top manager, the independent work of Gazpromneft is beneficial to the whole Gazprom group, "because it allows the company to compete in different segments of the liberalized gas market".
