Bazhenov suite bears oil reserves of 10-30 billion tons

The West Siberian  Bazhenov group of fields bears oil reserves of 10-30 billion tons, and it should be brought into development,which will enlarge oil production in Russia, the Deputy Director of the Russian Subsoil Use Management Agency, O. Kasparov says at the session with the Governor of the Tomsk region. One can awaits that the resource constituent of the non-traditional sectors in the region can be up to 1 billion tons. If the undeveloped sites and deposits are not brought into exploitations then production in Russia can reduce by 2020, and can reach 360 million tons by 2030. The launch of undeveloped sites at the active deposits can enlarge resource base by 2 billion tons, and annual their production can reach 40 million tons.
