SOCAR and Statoil came to agreement to develop a prospect feature on the Caspian Sea

SOCAR (state-run company of Azerbaijan) and Norwegian Statoil have agreed to develop the prospective structure “Zafar-Mashal” in the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea together, a source in oil-and-gas market said to Trend.

As the source stated a signing of an agreement on main principles of the structure “Zafar-Mashal” is expected within the frame of the World Economic Forum regarding “Strategic dialogue, connected with the future of the South Caucasus and Central Asia”, which will take place on April 8, in Baku.
