TNK-Uvat LLC can save on costs and increase oil extraction due to the use of new technologies

The new technology of downhole treatment monitoring helped TNK-Uvat LLC to extract an extra 10 thousand tons of oil and save 20 million RUR, the press service reports.
In 2012, 100% of the teams dealing with the routine and capital repair of wells at the deposits of TNK-Uvat were equipped with electronic weight indicators (IVE-50 PO7.27G) which transmit the information to the supervisors on a real time basis. The information includes the weight of the tool, the makeup and backoff torque of the pumping and compressor pipe during its lowering as well as the gas contamination level and the pressure during sluicing.
