Increase of the reserves of Surgutneftegas in 2014 made up 125%

​The recovery of reserves of Surgutneftegas in 2014 made up 125%, is said in the company’s report under IAS.

As a result of geological exploration one new oil deposit was discovered in the Western Siberia, one gas condensate deposit in the Nenets Autonomous Area and 32 new oil layers at the previously discovered deposits. The growth of recoverable oil reserves under C1 made up 76.8 mln tons.

In 2014 the volume of oil extraction made up 61.4 mln tons, volume of gas production – 9.4 bln cubic m, level of gas utilization is 99.14%.

The resource base of Surgutneftegas as of the end of 2014 is represented by 148 licenses. In 2014, 3 new deposits were put into operation in the Western Siberia – Vysotnoe, Kochevskoe and Verkhnekazymskoe.
