The Ukraine actively loads its gas storage facilities

​In 2015 the Ukraine loaded over 1 bln cubic m of gas into its gas storage facilities. Gas reserves at the Ukraine’s gas storage facilities currently exceed 8.6 bln cubic m.

In April the Ukraine loaded 0.82 bln cubic m of gas into its gas storage facilities.

In total the Ukraine holds 8.602 bln cubic m of gas now. Gas is loaded into 6 gas storage facilities, 51.8 mln cubic m daily.

On March 20th the Minister of Energy of the Ukraine, V. Demchishin, said that Naftogas might load about 19 bln cubic m of gas in summer but this volume is not needed taking into account the demand for it. Good funds are needed to purchase gas. The Ukraine hopes for the EU hoping to receive $0.8-1 bln.
