Surgutneftegas was named the best license holder in Yakutia

The questions, concerning the implementation of the license agreements by large enterprises-users of subsurface resources have been discussed in the parliament of Yakutia. As the vice-premier of the regional government P.Marinychev said the companies performed the obligations incurred, in general.

“We can see an annual growth in geological and exploration operations, prospected hydrocarbon reserves, oil and gas condensate production and new deposits development,” he said. He took OJSC “Surgutneftegas” as an example. According to him, the company fulfills all the license contracts and has agreements with the regional government and Lensky district.

Those, who made a speech, said that the company was the leader in quality of operation and participation in social-economic development of the region. As of June 1st, 2014 Surgutneftegas has obtained 20 licenses for the right to use subsurface resources on the territory of Yakutia. The total volume of investments of the company in the republic made up 174 billion roubles over the last 10 years. There have been transferred 36.9 billion roubles of taxes to the budget (6.959 bln.roubles in 2013). There kept Talakanskoye and Severo-Talakanskoye fields’ facilities construction, and the infrastructure development of the settlement Vitim. Oil production is expected to make up 7.81 million tons in 2015.
