Natural gas reserves at the Ukraine’s underground gas storage facilities reached 10.5 bln cubic m.

Ukrtransgas PJSC reported that in May 2015, 1.8 bln cubic m of gas was loaded into the underground gas storage facilities, 2.9 bln cubic m of gas from the beginning of 2015.

The daily volume of gas loading as of June 5th makes up 68 mln cubic m.

“The Ukraine has the largest underground gas storage facilities in Europe and along with Germany and Italy it is among the leaders on natural gas reserves at the underground gas storage facilities. 9.2 bln cubic m of gas are stored in Italy’s underground gas storage facilities, 8.2 bln in Germany’s underground gas storage facilities. The Ukraine’s underground gas storage facilities are loaded by 34% only”, the President of Ukrtransgas, I. Prokopov said.
