Rosneft and Lukoil reduced oil production in H1

In the first six months of 2061, Russia increased the oil production by 2.1%, the Interfax reports, referring to the Central Dispatch Department of the Fuel and Energy Sector. The total volume amounted to 269.877 million tons. In June, the production grew by 1.14% to 10.8 million barrels per day compared with last June.
 
This happened in spite of the drop in the production of the two largest producers - Rosneft and Lukoil, analysts of Uralsib Capital note. The Lukoil’s production fell by 5% per year to 1.64 million barrels per day (41.3 million tons in the first six months), Rosneft’s one by 0.8% to 3.78 million barrels (93.7 million tons). The half-year reduction in the production of the two companies amounted to nearly 2 million tons: 1.556 million tons at Lukoil and 0.375 million tons at Rosneft. And Surgutneftegaz retained its previous level of 1.24 million barrels (30.6 million tons).
