In June 2014, Yamal LNG will launch the preparatory infrastructure at the port of Sabetta. They include 4 moorings with total length of 915 m able to accept ships of classes Ro-Ro and Lo-Lo, and meant for the delivery of cargoes and technical modules for the arrangement of the deposit and the construction of the LNG plant. The contractor for the construction of preparatory objects is MRTS JSC.
The introduction to the operational of the preparatory period infrastructure will provide unloading and accepting of large technical modules weighting more than 8,000 tons.
