Ankara: Turkish companies to participate in construction of Turkish Stream

​Turkish companies will participate in the construction of the onshore part of Turkish Stream in Frakia. Russia knows that we have a good experience in the construction of gas pipelines and modern technologies. I hope we will use it, the Minister of Energy and Natural Resources of Turkey, T. Yildyz, said.

According to him, Turkey will not participate in the construction of the underwater part of the gas pipeline via the bottom of the Black Sea.

Turkish Stream will consist of 4 branches and will pump up to 47 bln cubic m of gas to the Turkey-Greece border. A gas hub is planned to be founded there. The EU will realize the gas pumping capacities on further acceptation of this gas by itself.
