SOCAR’s Turkish subsidiary starts construction of sea port for maintenance of STAR refinery

SOCAR Turkiye Enerji (Turkish subsidiary of SOCAR) has started construction of a sea port, designed to serve the STAR plant (refinery) in Turkey, said head of SOCAR Turkiye Enerji on his Facebook page.

"The construction of moorings of the STAR refinery will be completed in May 2017. In general, works on the construction of the plant continues apace. The volume of investments in the project since the beginning of its implementation made up $2 billion. There are only 30 months before the start of theproduction at the plant, "- said K.Yavuz.
