NOVATEK seizes a client from Surgutneftegaz

The Russian independent gas producers have already seized a number of clients from Gazprom at the internal market. Now they start to compete with each other. NOVATEK seized a client from Surgutneftegaz. The company increased its deliveries to E.On Russia, having signed a 13-year contract at the amount of 284 billion RUR with the Surgut regional power station #2 (the largest in the country). It remains unknown where Surgutneftegaz will deliver its fuel, however, the company has some small energy generating and processing facilities.
