Project of Amur gas processing plant approved at public hearings

Project of Amur gas processing plant has received a positive assessment of the impact on the environment in the framework of the public hearing, held in the village of Chernigovka in the Svobodnensky district of the Amur region on September 23, NIPIGaz reports.

NIPIGaz, which acts as the general designer of the plant, notes that the project includes the construction of a complex system of water treatment facilities. "This means that, in fact, the composition of water that will flow from the gas processing plant in sewers will be cleaner than water in the upper reaches of the rivers," - said director of the Department of Environment of the International Centre under the auspices of UNESCO "Sustainable Energy Development" Dilara Karimova. The impact of the facilities of the Amur gas processing plant on the air will meet the established standards.
