Russia sets up a new record for oil production

Oil production in Russia made up 10.74 million barrels a day in September 2015. It is a new record since the Soviet era. An increase of production made up 0.4% compared to August 2015.

Oil production made up record 10.71 million barrels a day in March. The previous record was achieved in December 2014 (10.67 mln barrels a day). “Low oil price had no impact on the production plan,” an analyst for oil-and-gas sector of the Deutsche Bank said.
