SOCAR reduced drilling volumes by 18.4%

​In Jan-September 2015 SOCAR ran 80.548 thousand m of drilling works, excluding JVs and operational companies.

The operational drilling made up 79.548 thousand m, is reported.

Compared to Jan-September 2014, the driftage fell by 18.4%.

In Jan-September 2014, drilling volumes made up 98.737 thousand m, operational drilling – 97.109 thousand m, exploratory – 1.628 thousand m.

In September 2015 SOCAR drilling 8.288 thousand m.

In Jan-September 2015, 55 new wells were put into operation, including 10 in September.

In 2014 SOCAR drilling 127.346 thousand m, 124.718 thousand m of which was operational drilling, 2.628 thousand m – exploratory drilling.

Compared to 2013, the driftage fell by 10.7%.

In 2013 SOCAR carried out 142.656 thousand m of drilling works.
