Tethys Petroleum sells 50% of Kazakhstani assets

Tethys Petroleum sells 50% of its oil-and-gas assets in Kazakhstan to SinoHan Oil and Gas Investment B.V., subdivision of a Chinese investment fund HanHong.

The initial payment will make up $75 million.

The company will also get extra payments at up to $30 million in case of an increase of oil and gas resources (2P cat.) during 2013 and 2014.
