VSZ to build two ships for Gazpromneft.

A ceremony of laying the first ice-breaking vessel under Arc130A project, Ice Class Icebreaker 8, built by order of Gazpromneft was hosted in Vyborg Shipyard (VSZ). The ship was named "Aleksandr Sannikov".

Two icebreaking vessels intended for operation in the Gulf of Ob (Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District) for the oil terminal on Novoportovsk field will be built at VSZ. Ships are intended to ensure the shipment of oil, icebreaking tankers, rescue, towing vessels, firefighting, participation in oil spill response operations.
