ExxonMobil, Statoil and ENI will invest $14 billion into Rosneft’s shelf projects within the next 5 years

The awaited investment of Rosneft and its partners to geological exploration on shelf will be $14 billion at the first stage. One of the important factors enabling to enlarge the volume of seismic exploration within the next 2 years has been partnership of Rosneft with the global oil and gas leaders ExxonMobil, Statoil, and ENI. The partners will provide the financing of the first stage of geological exploration.

By January 1st 2014, Rosneft held 46 licenses for oil and gas prospecting, exploration and production at the Russian shelf with the total extractable resources of over 45 billion tons in oil equivalent.
