Investments into the petrochemical complex construction in the Republic of Tatarstan to require $6 billion.

Investments in the construction of the new petrochemical plant GC "Taif" in the Republic of Tatarstan will require $6 billion, stated CEO, Albert Shigabutdinov at the joint final board of the region’s Ministry of Economy and the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

"This project is equivalent to the construction of a second larger "Nizhnekamskneftekhim", as the capacities are more than 1.5 times higher. The project costs more than $6 billion. All the investment projects of GK "Taif" were included in the development plan for gas and petrochemicals in Russia by 2030 and approved by the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin," - stated Shigabutdinov
