Kazakhstan to reduce quantum index of steel industry by 6% in 2014 – Isekeshev

Kazakhstan will reduce the volume index of steel industry by 6% in 2014 due to a reduction of copper ore and bauxite production, Minister of Industry and New Technologies of the republic A.Isekeshev said.
“We forecast the volume index at 94% at the expense of reduction of copper ore and bauxite production. The production of precious non-ferrous metals makes up 90%,” Minister said.
