In January 2015, limits if gas consumption in the Ukraine are 13% exceeded

In January 2015, industrial enterprises, public institutions, district heating companies and households in the Ukraine consumed 5.24 billion cubic meters of natural gas, which is by almost 1 billion cubic meters of gas, or 19% less than in January 2014, Naftogaz reported on February 5, 2015.

This decline can hardly be attributed to the more efficient use of gas by all categories of the consumers, but rather to an overall reduction in the gas consumption due to the fall in the Ukrainian economy’s rates.
