Rusal is about to demount temporally closed plants of 700 thousand tons of production capacity

RusAl demounts the plants, which were shut down in 2013 and 2014. They produced 700 thousand tons of aluminium a year. Thus it contributes to a growth of metal price, Bloomberg writes.

“Last year we reduced production to 3.6 million tons and we do not plan to resume frozen production, despite aluminium price. These plants have been the most inefficient assets and we demount them,” stated the head of the world largest aluminium company V.Solovyev.
