8 of Rosneft's geological explorations programs at the shelf have been approved

​Rosprirodnadzor has positively assessed the geological exploration programs at the shelf in the Western Arctic worked out by an affiliate of Rosneft – “RN-Shelf-Arctic” and issued its conclusions in conformity with the ecological requirements, Rosneft reports.

Rosprirodnadzor has been holding expertise for 2 months with the materials of 8 programs of complex geophysical research works, electric exploratory works, offshore complex engineering research works and offshore geochemical research works which are planned to be held by Rosneft at 11 license sites in the Pechora, Barents and Kara Seas.

“Positive conclusions of the Government Ecological Expertise allow Rosneft OJSC to realize the entire complex of announced works at the license sites at the shelf in the western Arctic in 2015-2021”, is reported.
