Gazpromneft extends list of projects on cooperation with Vietnam
Gazpromneft and Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (Petrovietnam) have signed a number of agreements on further development of cooperation. The documents were signed in the presence of the Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev and Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung in Hanoi (Vietnam).
Chairman of the Gazpromneft’ Board Alexander Djukov and head of the Petrovietnam’s Board Nguyen Xuan Sean signed a memorandum on expanding cooperation in projects for joint exploration, development and production of hydrocarbons on the shelf of the Pechora Sea (the Dolginskoye field and Northwest licensed area). The parties agreed to establish a working group, which would include experts from both companies on a parity basis. It is planned to determine the list of priority fields, as well as to harmonize the basic conditions for the signing of the cooperation for further binding agreements before the end of October 2015. Implementation of the projects will be carried out on the basis of joint ventures, shares in which the parties will determine during the negotiations.
