Authorities of the Khanty-Mansiysk autonomous district help to create test sites for development of oil industry

The oil industry of the Khanty-Mansiysk autonomous district requires innovations for the further development, director of the Department of Subsoil Use in the Khanty-Mansiysk autonomous district Sergei Filatov believes.

He made this statement during the round table "Legislative support for the development of oil and gas industry" in Khanty-Mansiysk on Tuesday.

One of the most effective ways to introduce the innovations in the industry, he said, is to create test site in the oil sector.

"By itself, the test site can’t be limited with a subsoil area. These are single wells, frozen for some reasons, entire fields and subsoil areas," - said Filatov.
