Oil products leakage was due to the loss of containment of pipeline in Khabarovsk region

​There was a leakage of oil products due to the loss of containment of the pipeline on April 6th 2016 in the Khabarovsk region.

The accident took place at the oil pipeline, 2 km to the south of the Yagodny village of the Komsomolsk district.

The oil pipeline belongs to RN-Sakhalinmorneftegas, Rosneft’s affiliate.

Oil pumping extracted at the deposits of Sakhalin to the oil refinery plant in Komsomolsk-on –Amur is held by the pipeline.

The leakage has been eliminated.

The volume of leaked oil products makes up about 38 tons, oil products haven’t reached water objects.

Hydrocarbons are pumped into special reservoirs.
