Statoil completed the sale of 10% in Shakh-Deniz

The Norwegian Statoil has announced about the completion of the sale of 10% in the project for the development of the Shakh-Deniz gas condensate deposit and in South-Caucasian gas pipeline to SOCAR and BP. The volume of transaction is $1.45 billion. The latter bought from Statoil correspondently 6.7% and 3.3% in the Shakh-Deniz gas condensate deposit and in South-Caucasian gas pipeline. The contract for the deposit development was signed in June 1996 and ratified by the Parliament of Azerbaijan in October 1996.
