US can not compete with Russia in the gas market in Europe.

Competing with Russia in the European gas market is obviously losing battle for the United States, Forbes analyst Kenneth Raposa states.

Gas produced in the United States can get to the market in Europe only by sea. At the moment the country's four terminals to export liquefied natural gas (LNG) are being built, the fifth is only planned to be build. Among these, only one - Corpus Christi – has signed contracts with Europe.
