Oil service companies of Kazakhstan unite to participate in projects at Tengiz and Karachaganak

​The union of oil service companies of Kazakhstan has announced of the foundation of a consortium which will participate in tenders for the construction of a plant of third generation at the Tengiz deposit and a project of expansion of the Karachaganak deposit.

A number of large investors plan to realize large-scale projects in Kazakhstan where the expenditure amounts to dozens of billion dollars. But it is very difficult for the Kazakh companies to equally compete with foreign oil service companies. We don’t have the respective experience and the necessary funds. So oil service companies decided to unite, the chairman of the Presidium of the Union of oil service companies of Kazakhstan, R. Zhaksykykov, said.

The first consortium was founded by RenaissanceHeavyIndustries and LLP “ATK Company”.
