Krasny Oktyabr reduces production costs in steel smelting

Volgograd metallurgical plant Krasny Oktyabr has launched an arc furnace №5 after overhaul. The furnace upgrade will have a significant impact on reduction of production costs for steelmaking and will help to realize goals of the plant’s environmental programs on decrease of emissions into the environment, the company’s press centre reports.
