Transneft to direct 12.8 bln roubles for dividends-2015

​The Government of Russia has signed the directive on the dividends of Transneft for 2015, according to which the company will direct 100% of the net profit under RAS.

The directive was signed by D. Medvedev on June 3rd 2016.

According to the Minister of Energy, A. Novak, Transneft in the framework of the directive will pay 100% of its net profit under RAS as dividends, 10% of its net profit by privileged shares.

The total amount of payments for dividends of Transneft in 2015 will make up 12.8 bln roubles.

In 2015 the profit of Transneft made up 143.4 bln roubles under IAS and only 12.8 bln roubles under RAS.

In April 2016 the Ministry of Economic Development suggested Transneft paying dividends-2015 at the volume of 100% of its net profit under RAS which would help the company to save about 60 bln roubles.

So the scheme has worked out and the company will be able to pay dividends to its shareholders without a serious loss.
