Turkmenistan and China discuss prospects of energy cooperation deepening at Deputy Ministries level in Ashgabat

The 4th meeting of the Subcommittee on Trade and Economic Cooperation of the Intergovernmental Turkmen-Chinese Cooperation Committee at the level of Deputy Ministers took place in Ashgabat July 4, 2016. This was reported by the Government of Turkmenistan on July 4, 2016.
The main topic of the meeting was the deepening of the cooperation in the energy industry, including, transportation and delivery of natural gas from Turkmenistan to China.
China recently cut its forecast for growth of the gas consumption and slightly slowed down the construction of the fourth line of the Turkmenistan - China main gas pipeline, so they had topics to talk about.
