Hydro-testing of the first line of Zapolyarye-Purpe completed in Yamal

The hydro-testing of the first line of Zapolyarye-Purpe main oil line has been completed in Yamal. Three sectors of the oil line (358-487 km) were tested for water tightness and strength.
The filling of the main line with water started in compliance with the schedule of hydro-testing on July 17. The pressure during the water tightness tests made up 8.9 MPa, during the strength tests – 5.8 MPa. The oil line passed all tests, which means that the quality of building and mounting works was very high. Soon the builders will start in-line inspection of the pipeline with special devices.
