Gazprom to construct a complex on LNG production and a network of Krio fuel stations in Tatarstan

​“Gazprom gas motor fuel” has made a presentation of a project of a complex on production and processing of LNG in Tatarstan.

The project of infrastructure on LNG production was submitted to the Government of Tatarstan with the participation of the temporary acting head of Tatarstan, R. Minnikhanov.

Tatarstan is planned to become the first region in Russia where the infrastructure on the production and sale of LNG will be founded.

On the territory of the Chistopol industrial park “Gazprom gas motor fuel” will construct a complex on gas liquefaction. The plant will be constructed by 2030. It will produce up to 200 tons of LNG annually.

The Government said that the project will give the region many new work places, will provide the additional transfers to the budget, will improve the ecological situation in Tatarstan. “Gazprom gas motor fuel” considers the priority the cooperation with the Russian contractors and producers that will have a positive effect for the regional economy.
