Samaraneftegas purchased new license sites

​Samaraneftegas JSC on the results of auctions has gained the right to use the subsoil of the Otrozhsky and Samorodny license sites aiming for the geological study, exploration and extraction of hydrocarbons raw materials in the Samara region.

Rosneft reports that with the purchase of these licenses the recoverable reserves of Samaraneftegas will rise by almost 3 mln tons of oil.

The Otrozhsky license site with the area of about 450 sq km is located in the Bogatovsky, Neftegorsky and Alexeevsky administrative districts of the Samara region. The Bobrykinsky oil deposit is located within its borders as well as a part of reserves of the Kuleshovsky, Utevsky, Vetlyansky, Peschanodolsky and Golubebsvky oil and gas deposits.
