V.Putin denied funds of NWF to 4 projects of Rosneft

The RF President V.Putin decided not to allocate funds from the National Wealth Fund to four projects of “Rosneft”, three officials said to Vedomosti. It is caused by the decision to save reserves at the current state of the economy, they say.

President V.Putin refused to allocate funds from the National Welfare Fund for 4 projects of Rosneft. They are the development of the Russkoye, Yurubcheno-Tokhomskoye deposits, the gas assets of Rospan and the modernization of the Angarsk petrochemical complex. Vedomosti reports citing the three federal officials, two of which state he said about it at a meeting in late July.

Only one project of Rosneft got permission. It is the shipbuilding centre “Zvezda”.

Earlier, Ministry of Energy and Ministry of Economic Development approved these projects. But Ministry of Finance was against them.
