Bulgaria wants to take part in “Turkish Stream”

The Bulgarian authorities plan to prolong the branch of the Turkish Stream as far as its territory. Deputy Minister of Energy of Bulgaria, A.Pavlov said in an interview to the newspaper “Izvestia”.

According to him, Sofia plans to become gas hub at the outlet of the Russian gas pipeline from the Black Sea – either directly from Turkey or through the territory of Greece.

“Now we prepare an investment agreement for the construction of interconnector with Greece. It is meant for connection of Greece with the future gas hub in our country. If Russia can agree on the construction of the second branch to Greece with Turkey, we are ready to discuss gas receipt,” the edition cites Pavlov.
