Severstal starts commissioning and start-up of gas-cleaning unit at CherMK’s convertors

The Cherepovets metallurgic plant, one of the largest integrated steel plants in the world (a part of Severstal Russian Steel) has started the commissioning and start-up at the gas-cleaning unit of the convertors fugitive emissions trapping facility – an ecological project in the amount of 3.6 billion rubles.

Works at the building site are carried out with direct involvement specialists of the main technological equipment supplier – the company Siemens VAI Metals Technologies.
