$40 bln to be spent for Shakh-Deniz-2

The partners on the development of gas condensate deposit “Shakh-Deniz” will spend $40 billion for the realization of the second stage of the project.
The regional president of BP in Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkey G.Birrell said about it during the Third Caspian forum, held in Istanbul.
According to him the expenditures will make up about $20 billion for the creation of mining infrastructure. This year, according to Birrell, the expenditures for the development of the deposit will make up $2 billion.
