The development of shelf projects at the Kara Sea to be discussed

The Ministry of Natural Resources of Russia is about to discus the development of shelf projects at the Kara Sea at a governmental meeting, S.Donskoi, head of the department stated.
Rosneft and ExxonMobil discovered a new deposit Pobeda at the licensed site Vostochno-Prinovozemelsky-1 as a result of drilling of the bore hole “Universitetskaya-1” in September 2014. Preliminary appraisal of its resource base makes up 338 billion cubic meters of gas and over 100 million tons of oil.
