"LUKOIL" finds 14 prospective structures in the Caspian Sea with the resources of 810 million tons of oil equivalent.

LUKOIL had identified 14 promising structures in the Russian sector of the Caspian Sea with hydrocarbon resources of 810 million tons of standard oil, Nikolai Lyashko, CEO "LUKOIL Nizhnevolzhsk", announced today at the Council on maritime activities.

According to him, the company conducted a comprehensive study of the Russian sector of the Caspian Sea: 21 wells were drilled with a total of 52 thousand meters. "14 promising structures with resources of 810 million tons of standard coal were identified and prepared for deep drilling", - he added.
