SOCAR increased oil export via Novorossiysk by 67% in Q1

​SOCAR increased oil export via the port of Novorossiysk by 66.6% in Q1 2015 against Q1 2014 to 423.8 thousand tons.

In March 2015, 169.5 thousand tons of Azeri oil was exported from the port of Novorossiysk where raw materials are delivered by the Baku-Novorossiysk pipeline. In March 2014, 84.7 thousand tons was exported.

The Azeri oil is pumped by the northern route on the basis of the commercial agreement signed on February 18th 2014 between SOCAR and Transneft. The parties extended the agreement until the end of 2015. Its conditions are not released.

In 2014 SOCAR hipped 932.155 thousand tons of oil from Novorossiysk.
